Have you ever wondered if koala fur is soft, what a koala smells like, or how much a koala eats?  Our Koala Keeper is there to answer all of your questions, plus more!

Cleland Wildlife Park is one of the few places in Australia where you can get right up-close to, and even pat, a koala.

Guests will be invited, one at a time, to experience feeling the fur of the koala, to smell the gum leaves, and offered the opportunity to take their own photo whilst standing next to the koala.

The Koala Keeper will talk to the guests about all things koalas, from the individual story of the koala they are meeting, to the role Cleland Wildlife Park is playing in koala conservation, as well as what we can do at home to help the wild populations.

Join us for the ultimate Australian meet and greet!

 Tour Highlights:

  • Guaranteed up-close experience with a koala outside of public session times.
  • Spend one-on-one time with an individual koala and its keeper.
  • Opportunity to take photographs, undisturbed by other visitors.
  • Learn about our local environment and the importance of habitat protection, not only for koalas, but also other native fauna and flora.
