JUNIOR WILDLIFE KEEPER
For the Morning
If you are interested in animals and nature and are not afraid to get your hands a little dirty, this this program is for you! Come and spend the morning at Cleland Wildlife Park with like-minded animal lovers.
Your morning will include learning about animal care, and exploring the many activities a Wildlife Keeper might carry out. Participants can help to prepare enrichments for our animals to enjoy, clean animal exhibits, and may also offer them their breakfast. You will be provided with opportunities to explore Australian animal characteristics, movements and sounds, and learn how to responsibly care for and interact with animals.
Don’t forget, with such a busy morning, be sure to bring along some snacks to keep your energy levels up.

Availability: Fridays
- Summer 2025: 10th, 17th & 24th January, 2025
- Autumn 2025: N/A due to Public Holidays (Easter and Anzac Day)

- Spring 2025: 3rd & 10th October, 2025
Arrival Time: 9:30am
Duration: 3 hours (9:30am to 12:30pm)
Numbers: Maximum of 5 participants (Minimum of 2 participants to run)
We keep numbers low to ensure all Junior Keepers experience everything,
and no one misses out.
Age: 7 to 12 years (please note the minimum age for this
experience is 7 years, no exceptions)
Cost: $105.00 (this does not includes park entry)
(Note: You can purchase a yearly Cleland Wildlife Park Child Membership
for $50.00 or Child Day Entry for $17.50)
What to bring:
· Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear (which may get dirty).
· Refillable water bottle.
· Sunscreen.
· Weather appropriate clothing (rain jacket, hat, beanie, jumper – depending on the
season).
