Night Walk
The October monthly session for Junior Conservation Club is a chance to experience a Night Walk at Cleland Wildlife Park.
Come and join the fun with our night residents. After dark the park comes alive as potoroos, bettongs and bandicoots forage for food, wild bats wake up from their daytime slumber and wild possums come searching for fun.
Our JCC kids and families will be provided with a torch or lantern to enable them to see the animals. Experience night darkness in Cleland Wildlife Park while listening, smelling and adjusting to a nocturnal environment. Feed potoroos, search for bats, and learn how to create habitats for nocturnal animals in your own backyard. The evening will end in the Oceans to Outback building for hot beverages and light refreshments.
