'CLELAND BLITZ 2024'

Come and spend the day at Cleland Wildlife Park and help us keep our grounds and gardens looking beautiful, (mainly by clearing natural debris, raking and weeding). This public working bee is a great opportunity to get involved, make a difference, and meet new people within your community.

A light morning tea and a sausage sizzle lunch will be provided, as well as the chance to meet some of our amazing wildlife.  All volunteers will receive free park entry and are encouraged to stay for the afternoon, exploring our park at their leisure.

Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy enclosed footwear, and bring along your gardening gloves, friends and family.

Event Details:

When:          Saturday 11th May, 2024

Time:            Arrive at 8:30am for a 9:00am start*  

                     Volunteering will finish at 12:30pm, followed by a sausage sizzle 

                     *all participants must be present for the 9:00am welcome and safety induction

Activities:    General gardening duties including clearing natural debris, weeding and raking

Wear:           Long pants, sturdy enclosed footwear and weather-appropriate clothing

Who:            Families and individuals of all ages, who are happy to volunteer outdoors

                     Note: Those under 18 years of age need to have an adult supervisor with them 

                     at all times

Bring:          Gardening gloves and drinking water

Cost:            Free - registration is essential
