Nature Festival 2025 - “Wetland Wonders”
Have you been to Cleland Wildlife Park before? I bet you haven’t seen all it has to offer.
Join in on this fun, unique and interactive journey in the park, and discover more about our wetlands and what lies beneath the surface.
You will get up-close with some tiny, yet fascinating, creatures found in our waterways, and have the opportunity to express your artistic flow by making your own creature creation.
This event is only happening for one day in the school holidays, celebrating the Nature Festival 2025 theme: “Flow, from rivers and oceans to creative flow, impermanence and ephemeral desert flow, to the flow of communities and generations.”
Maximum of 12 children per session, and a guardian must attend with their child.
Program Highlights:
· Collect water bugs from our wetlands.
· Identify macro invertebrates up-close using special tools.
· Make your own creature creation to take home.
· Observe our wetland birds at Cleland Wildlife Park.
· Learn fun engaging facts and gain knowledge about the importance of wetland
ecosystems.

Capacity: 12 children (accompanying adult required - adults only need to purchase
an entry ticket to the park, not for the tour)

Booking Conditions:
Bookings remain tentative until payment is received in full.
For safety reasons, participants must be able to understand and follow all instructions given by Cleland staff.
Participants may be asked to leave the experience at any time at the discretion of staff. Cleland staff reserve the right to stop
experiences at any time for the safety and welfare of guests and animals.
Guest booking cancellation requests must be made in writing 5 days prior to booking to receive a full refund. Cancellation requests shorter
than this period will not be refunded. If a refund is authorised, it will be made within 28 days of booking date.
Cancellations made by Cleland Wildlife Park may occur due to extreme weather, or other conditions, outside of the park’s control. You will be notified via email if this is to occur and will be refunded in full.
Due to unpredictable animal behaviour and weather, experiences may vary.
Entry to Cleland Wildlife Park is not included. Valid entry is compulsory for all attendees.
This program is for children aged 3 to 7 years old.
This program requires children to be accompanied and supervised by an adult. (1:3)
Maximum number of guests for this experience is 12.
You must arrive at the Ticket Office 10 minutes prior to the start time of your program. A late check-in may forfeit your booking, and a
refund will not be issued.
Late arrivals may be admitted to the session at the discretion of the staff.
This experience is accessible by wheelchairs and prams.

Due to unpredictable animal behaviour, staff availability and weather, sessions may vary.
Please note, due to diet requirements of our animals, seeds and nuts may be used during animal interactions.
